What a whirlwind 2025 has been! After an exciting and eventful year, things have finally settled enough to reflect on how far we’ve come—and to share what’s next for Forgotten Coast Beach Co.
This spring, we launched our new company with one simple goal: to make beach days easier and more enjoyable with resort-style beach chair and umbrella service across the Forgotten Coast. Over the first few months, we fine-tuned our process, focused on exceptional customer experience, and watched the word spread quickly. By mid-summer, we had earned over 30 five-star reviews, a clear sign that visitors to Mexico Beach and St. Joe Beach were loving what we do.
After 23 amazing years building and growing Nashville Sports Leagues, I felt it was time to take on a new challenge. In July 2025, the sale of NSL was completed, marking the end of one chapter and the start of another. That’s when I met Rusty Grimes, owner of Top Notch Beach Equipment.
On a bit of a whim, I asked Rusty if he’d ever consider selling the business. Luckily, my timing was right—he agreed—and I couldn’t be more thankful. Rusty has been incredibly generous with his time and knowledge, helping me learn the ropes as we wrapped up our first season under the Forgotten Coast Beach Co. name. His legacy lives on in the level of service and quality equipment our guests enjoy every day.
Since purchasing Top Notch in July, we’ve expanded our fleet and upgraded nearly every part of our rental lineup. Here’s what’s new for 2026:
